Anthony Robinson and his Team have done an excellent job for us at Tigh na Sonais in Newtonmore during the challenging year of 2020. We required a new extension (timber frame) to be built on to an old existing cottage. The latter required a total clear out and refurbishment. Although Tony`s core skill is joinery, he has greatly assisted in procuring and managing other trades for this project along with assisting in solving any detail / technical details. These include the roofing, windows and doors, tiling, plastering, decoration, kitchen units, wood burning stove, ironmongery. Over 95% of the work has been carried out by the local supply chain. He has also worked closely with the ground worker for drainage and concrete work as well as with the Electrical and plumbing installers. Anthony Robinson Joinery has been in charge of three refurbishment projects at The Signalbox holiday home. Whilst working to a tight schedule he has always delivered a successful result and ensured effective and smooth running collaboration between trades. Anthony Robinson refurbished our bungalow over the winter of 2017/2018. He converted our loft into two new bedrooms and a bathroom, requiring a brand new roof, as well as adding a new porch and reconfiguring our downstairs rooms. We are delighted with the result and the quality of his workmanship. Tony and his team were a pleasure to work with and we quickly established that we didn’t require our architect to oversee the ongoing work. He has a very informal approach which allowed changes and technical challenges to be overcome without a fuss. Snagging issues have also all been dealt with to our satisfaction. Tony renovated my small house in Newtonmore to take it from the 80's to a crisp clean modern interior revitalising every room.
